An alcoholmeter is a measuring instrument used to determine the alcohol content in alcoholic beverages. The alcohol content is expressed as a percentage by volume (vol. %). It is mainly used for measuring spirits such as schnapps, vodka, and similar alcoholic beverages.
Instructions for Use
Measurement Temperature
The alcoholmeter provides the most accurate measurements at a temperature of 20 °C. If the liquid is warmer, the alcoholmeter will indicate a higher alcohol content than the actual value. If the liquid is colder, it will indicate a lower value.
Important Information
The alcoholmeter must be clean and undamaged. It is primarily designed for measuring mixtures of alcohol and water. Measurements may be inaccurate in beverages containing sugar or other additives.
The purpose of the alcoholmeter is to quickly and easily determine the alcohol content in spirits.
