The professional wire cage closer for sparkling wine is designed for compressing cork stoppers and manually fitting and tightening standard wire cages (muselets) with 35 mm legs on sparkling wine and Champagne bottles.
It is suitable for bottles with a capacity ranging from 0.375 to 6 litres and a maximum height of 75 cm, making it suitable for a wide range of bottle sizes.
The unit is equipped with a height-adjustable support plate and support rod, providing greater bottle stability and ensuring safer, more precise operation.
Important: The wire cage closer for sparkling wine is not designed for stand-alone use. Before using this device, the bottle must first be properly corked using the Bottle Corker for Wine & Sparkling Wine – Item No. 17727. The wire cage closer is then used in the next step to fully compress the cork and fit and tighten the wire cage securely in place.
